Using the exercise files

- [Instructor] If you have a premium membership, you're going to have access to exercise files that you can use to follow along with this course as we build some compelling titles. This is usually available under the Exercise Files tab, simply click on it and give it some time to download, as keep in mind we are dealing with video footage. Once you receive the file, it'll be contained within a folder, and in that folder will be sub folder called Copied EGP in Premiere Pro. The most important file in this happens to be the EGP in Premiere Profile that's identified by a P-R-P-R-O-J extension. If you double click, this is going to open inside of Premiere. I just so have it open, and what we are wanting to see is the project panel, and all of the folders contained within it. So for each chapter that we're going through, you'll see that there is a bin, and if you double click that bin it will open up and show you each lesson file. All you have to to is double click on the sequence and it will open up in the timeline and then you can start to build the title for that specific lesson. If you need to head back to the original project panel, just keep in mind from the sub bin folder that you open up you can just click on the arrow up here and that's going to bring you back, showing you all of the files available again. Now in the event that you double click the project file and Premiere Pro launch is telling you that some files need to be relinked, you're going to want to do these following steps. Here I am presented with a list saying that it's missing media for these clips. Now anything that's actually check marked, Premiere Pro can see, but you will notice down here that it's not seeing these specific two files listed here, there's no check marks next to them. So what I'm going to do is choose to press Locate, and I'm going to navigate to the area on my system where my lesson files are. Heading into the Lesson File folder, notice that I have a check box down here called Display Only Exact Name Matches, which is going to help me find this specific file here at the top a lot easier. This happens to be in the Footage folder. You'll see that it's discovered that file, which I will single click and then choose to press OK. Any other files that are in the given file path it should be able to see, but, again, it doesn't see the AE Graphic file in this case, so I'll choose to locate that, as well. And note that this actually happens to be a Motion Graphic Template, stored under the Motion Graphic folder right here. Again, I will double click the third folder right here, which happens to have the random color titles.AE graphic, and press OK to relink to that file. And now all the files within the path are relinked and I'm ready to start the process of adding titles inside of Premiere Pro.
