Using non-real-time tools to quality control for LKFS

- The loudness radar is great for real-time measurement and to get you to that proper LKFS as you're mixing, but it's really good to double-check in QC where you're at in the middle of the mix after you get some really good settings in, and at the very end before you send it off to the client. Non-real-time QC is available in Audition, and in other programs, such as Nugen's LM-Correct, and even the waves meter, but again, Audition has a diagnostic tool for you that tells you how to QC, and we're going to show how to get those measurements in Audition so that you know exactly where your LKFS and your true peak is, among other diagnostic measurements and audio. This is crucial, if you've just spent an hour or two outputting a mix, you don't want to sit there and watch it for an hour or two, again, to make sure that it's hitting properly for your LKFS and your true peak, so using non-real-time QC tools, and Audition is the easiest, is crucial to passing QC and making sure that your audio…
