- Hello and welcome to this course where we'll be exploring green screen techniques for both photo and video. To get things started, we'll take a look at the history of green screen, as well as some practical uses for photography and video work flows. - Next we'll be talking about prepping a green screen by using a fabric back drop, tension back drop and a reflect media system. As well as some tips for working in a pro studio. - Then we'll look at lighting a subject for both photo and video. We'll look at using a light meter, we'll look at lighting the background and making sure we don't have any colors spill on our subject. Then we'll show you how to work with the subject positioning them, posing them, creating a rapport and providing direction during the shoot. - We'll also see our best practices for shooting video with a DSLR or mirrorless camera. We'll also talk about shooting with an external recorder, the sing sound work flow and checking your test keys on set. - We'll move into post production by getting our back drops ready. This will include techniques for selecting the best background. As well as cool things you can do to modify the depth of field, the exposure and other settings when you develop the images, so that they make a better composite. - Next we'll look at creating photographic composites. Working with the raw image, creating transparency in Photo Shop. Positioning the background, matching color and exposure for the photo and we'll refining the composite with color grading. - And finally we'll take a look and keying in three different applications. Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro and After Effects. We'll also cover advance techniques like z space, digital lighting and animating a 3D camera. - We've got a lot of cool things to learn and a team of experts to help you. So let's get started.
