Want to master video compression in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Media Encoder?

- Hi, I'm Luisa Winters. Welcome to Premiere Pro Guru, Compression. When we are finished editing, at some point, we need to export our work and deliver it to the client. Sometimes it's for the web. Sometimes it's for broadcast or some other option. Most of the time, when we are delivering our final video, it must be compressed, and it must be compressed for several reasons: file size, format compatibility, ease of streaming, or maybe something else. So compression becomes a really important part of our workflow. After all, how we compress determines in great part the quality of our delivered video. Whatever your reason for compressing, you'll need to go through some specific settings. In this title, we will go through what compression is and what types of compression are necessary for different delivery methods. We will also go through different settings, such as bit rate, I-frame and GOP codex, formats and presents, and finally, we'll discuss troubleshooting. There are many settings and configurations, but soon, you'll master all of them, and you'll be able to save your work with optimal settings for best delivery.
