Watch folders

- Watch folders are a way that we have to create a macro that we can use whenever we need to. A watch folder is a smart folder that will tell Adobe Media Encoder to perform a task as soon as a clip gets dropped inside of that folder. The encoding will begin immediately. Let's go ahead and open Adobe Media Encoder. Once you have it open, notice that in here we have two tabs, the Queue and the Watch Folders tab. Let's go to the Watch Folders tab. Click on the plus sign. And in here, it's going to ask you which folder you want to watch. I'm going to go to the desktop. And in here, I'm going to create a new folder. Right-click, New, Folder, and I'm going to name it Watch Folder Test. I'm going to single-click that one to select it, and now I'll click on the button that says Select Folder. Now in here, we already have selected the folder that we wanted to be the smart folder or the watch folder, in this case. We can…
