What you should know before watching this course

- Before you jump into this course, you should have a basic familiarity with Premiere Pro. This will include navigating the timeline, opening bins, and looking for clips. Now, I've already set up all the sequences so there's no real editing that you're going to do, rather you're going to work with existing sequences and clips that have been laid out for you. But you should be relatively familiar with how to navigate. I'm going to be using the current version of Adobe Premiere Pro Creative Cloud. This class was recorded using the update that was released at the National Association of Broadcaster's Show 2019. If you're using an earlier version, there's a chance that some of the features may not be available. But for the most part, this course will be backwards compatible. And as you go forward, this class will continue to work with newer versions of Premiere Pro. All right, make sure that you have your Premiere Pro up to date and loaded onto your system. Once that's done, we're ready to start.
