Why use green screen for photography?

- So as a photographer, why would you want to use green screen? We're used to using paper rolls usually a black or a white background or sometimes colors. But a green screen offers us some great flexibility. Now, when you hear of green screen you think of like cheesy special effects. And you know in the old days that's what you'd do, you know you'll add these crazy special effects but we can really use it to speed up our workflow. Because a lot of times most of your energy is spent in post production. And if you can shoot things on a green screen so that your post production is that much faster it's really great. A great example where green screen is used is school and sport photos. They take one picture of the kid and they could put eight different backgrounds behind it and then the parents could then choose which one they'd like, instead of having to take eight shots and hoping you got a really good pose on…
