Working with the Hue vs. Saturation Curve

- The first curve we're going to talk about is hue versus saturation. This lets you target a color and then adjust its saturation independently. By using control points and a curve, this means that some areas can be affected and then they gradually fall off and blend back with the original. Let's take a look here at this shot and with the eyedropper, I'm going to click to select the red apple. You'll notice that it adds control points, but it happened to fall right there on the edge. So let's scroll this over so we can see it better and what I want to do is boost the saturation of the red. And you see that that apple is nicely targeted. I can also do a little shift there to emphasize. Now, let's come over to the yellowish green apples and click and we can apply a little boost there as well or a dip, I like that. And we'll put a little bit of a boost here in the middle so it doesn't go down quite so far. There we go, that looks good. If you ever needed to, you could just double click…
