- While Red cameras aren't the only RAW cameras on the market, they certainly are amongst some of the most popular. Red managed to lower the price point for high-end cinema. These cameras aren't cheap, but by relative standards, particularly for use on Hollywood and broadcast television projects, they are relatively affordable and give the camera crew, a lot of flexibility. I've got a sequence open and what you want to do is right click on the clip and choose to reveal it in the project. This will take you to the original clip. As you saw earlier, with many RAW formats, you can right click and invoke the source settings. This will bring up a new dialog. Now, this will vary by camera to camera, but you can drag through and take a look at the footage and you have the ability here to also take a look at what's happening with this histogram.
