Working with the Reorient tool
- Final Cut Pro 10 has a reorient tool that allows us to quickly reorient our 360 shots. The best part about it is this tool is built onto 360 clips. Let's take a look. So in this chapter there's actually a FCP library called 360 in FCP10 and if you double click to open it'll open inside of Final Cut, or alternatively you can go to your file menu and you can choose to open library from whichever location it's currently located in, or choose from other to navigate to where on your system you saved it. So here is a projects event inside this library. You can see it by twirling down the 360 library, and in the projects event contains a series of chapters which are our Final Cut Projects. Just double click to open up the chapter6_1. So here you can see my 360 footage, this happens to be a 360 timeline, and we're currently looking at our footage which is equirectangular in space.
