- [Instructor] When you want the ability to add and edit your effects to many clips in mass, you may want to consider using adjustment layers, or nests. So let's talk about each. So, I have our sequence here, and I'd again like to add the effect that I created a few videos ago. I have this golden tinge with the blurred edges, and so I'm just going to select this clip, and then go to Effect Controls, and we see that we have the Black & White filter, the Tint, the Auto Contrast, and the Gaussian Blur that's producing this effect. So let's apply it to this sequence, but instead of applying it to each and every clip in this sequence, I'm going to apply it to a layer above this sequence. So, what I'ma do is create an adjustment layer. And so I just come down to New Item and Adjustment Layer. It sets the adjustment layer up to match my sequence settings, so I'll say OK.
