- [Instructor] There are also some dedicated interface preferences. I'm going to go into the Premiere Pro application menu and into Preferences, and Appearance. This would be under the Edit menu on Windows. In here, I could do things like change the brightness of the interface. This is quite useful if you're using a video projector to show what you're doing to a room. And I can change how bright or dark the interactive controls are. It's pretty subtle, but you can see that's it dark and that's it light in the example, and the focus indicators, again, I can make light and dark. You can see I'm getting the illustrative example there. The focus indicators are the highlights that show which panel or tool you've got active. I find, personally, that the defaults for all of these work absolutely fine. I haven't found that the difference is that significant.
