The clip and sequence marker workflow

- [Instructor] Clip and sequence markers have no particular impact on the contents of your media. There are some technical uses, you can do things like add chapter markers that get embedded in the meta data for some forms of distribution. But in the main, clip and sequence markers are there to help you stay organized. And you can use them to leave notes for other editors that you're collaborating with. The workflow for adding markers to clips and sequences is the same, it really just comes down to selection. If I have a clip open in the source monitor, here, for example, I've got this Mid John shot open, and I've got the clip and sequence sequence open in the timeline panel. I can just position the playhead where I want to, and either click the Add Marker button, or press M for marker, which I'll do now. This adds a marker to the clip in the default green color, and you'll notice it appears in the timeline as well. These…
