The importance of effects order
- [Instructor] The order of effects matters inside of Adobe Premiere Pro, and we're going to take a look at that in its most basic form in the chapter 2_9 sequence. Let's head to the Effects tab, which should show up on the right-hand side in the Effects workspace. And for any reason you're not seeing it, go to Window, Effects. And let's expand the Effects window so we can see it a little bit clearer. And head to the Stylize category. Click the disclosure triangle. Let's apply that Roughen Edges effect that we saw earlier. We can see it's now affecting the edges of our clip. With the clip selected, head to the Effect Controls tab. We'll choose Roughen Color to add some color to the border. And let's choose a red color for now, which we'll press OK to. Let's increase the size of that border so that we can see this clearly. Play with the edge sharpness, and drag down the fractal influence to a small value, such as 0.2.…
