- Automation refers to time saving techniques inside Adobe Media Encoder. And there's a lot of options and things you can do, depending on your work flows. In this case, I just wanna take an overview of what's available in terms of ideas and where you can find these things. In particular, I wanna look at presets, and I wanna look at Watch folders. Let's take a look at where they are. So here I am in Adobe Media Encoder, and I wanna take a deeper look at one of the windows that's always there, but we don't spend as much time on, and it is the Preset browser. So you see in the Preset browser, this is where we store all of our presets. And that includes our system presets, these are the ones that are built-in and we're used to seeing on the Format menu, and the different choices that we make. And you can see, these are all, we're used to these, but we usually see them in a menu format as opposed to these lists. And this is where they're all stored, as well as user presets in groups. So…
