The magic of the Skydio drone

In this movie, we're going to talk about the magic of the Skydio drone. Now what makes this AI-driven is that it did a lot of machine learning about it's environment. And how it does it is with all the various cameras that are at the back, the sides, that you can see here, that actually track the environment around it. And what it's great at is actually following people. And the ease of use is incredible. You pretty much start up the drone, then you use your camera app and it will do the rest once you decide to have it track someone. So let me take you through a little bit about this drone. There's a few things that you want to keep in mind. First of all, when you launch the drone, you want to have it on a flat surface. After it's on a flat surface, at the back of the battery is a little circle. You simply press that in for a couple seconds. That circle will light up along with a little bit at the sides of the drone. That means that it's turning on and it's going to start checking around it for all of its safety. At this point in time, after about 30 seconds, you want to go into your Skydio camera app. Once you do, you connect through wifi. If the GPS is right and it's finished calibrating, you can start to fly your drone. So the first thing you do is you simply swipe up after it's all connected. Once it is, it's going to go up and hopefully your subject is close to the drone's front-facing camera, the one that's going to be used to actually capturing the content that you want. Once it does, you'll see that it has this tracking point around the subjects that are in the camera. And if you tap the subject that you want to capture, you can then follow that person. So the first Follow mode is actually going to track the person from behind. And what's amazing about this Skydio drone is the environment around it, if the person is running, they're going to be able to maneuver around some tight corners and corridors. On top of that, it has other cool modes as well. Instead you can change the mode to Lead, and then this drone is going to be in front of that person. My favorite actually happens to be Orbit. What's going to happen is if you have a person within a general area, this drone is simply going to circle around them over and over again as they perform something, tracking that person. And again, it's with these sensors that makes this drone so incredibly powerful. Now this sells in a bunch of different ways, but something for you to definitely keep in mind as it relates to artificial intelligence and camera technology.
