The role of comments

- Comments and markers are quite useful because they allow you to add notes. Perhaps those notes are to yourself, so when you return to your project at a later date you remember important details. More likely, though, it's notes to someone else. Maybe it's information for the colorist on how you want a particular clip treated or information from the producer about a particular change that he or she wanted in the sequence. Well, comments and markers make it easy for multiple people to collaborate and this is quite useful because we can't always be in the same room at the same time. Let's explore some things about Markers. There are several different types of markers. A marker can be used at a comment and this is a note about the particular item or selected piece of the Timeline. It can contain a Chapter Marker, which could be useful for several formats, such as DVDs and H.264 files that contain chapters.
