Customize the background, shape, and text style

- [Instructor] We saw earlier, that there are a ton of templates you can choose from to start building your Prezi presentation. I ended up selecting this particular template for this example, but even after you select your template, you can continue to customize its appearance to really make it work for your particular presentation. Now, we'll talk about changing the appearance, size, and placement of the objects themselves a little later, but first, let's take a quick look at how to customize the background and color scheme of the Prezi. We have the Style button up here and clicking on it shows us these four buttons. Clicking Background lets you cycle through a wide range of alternate background images or patterns. Clicking the Colors button changes the color scheme of the objects on the canvas, including the text color and the shape colors. Now you're free to check out as many background and color combinations as you like. You can always click the little More button here next to Background to open up the Background panel, and this is where you can actually browse a lot more background images. You can also add your own custom background image from here, which we'll look at how to do in its own upcoming movie. Down here at the bottom you can click Revert To Original to return the background back to the appearance it had when you first selected it. Now similarly, you can click the Style menu and click the More button next to Colors, and here you can select from a wide range of color schemes containing other color combinations that work well with each other. Now they might not always work great with the background image you've chosen, so you'll often have to play around a bit to find the best combination of background images and colors. From the Style menu you can also cycle through Topic Shapes, as well as appearances for the way the text is displayed. And clicking the More button next to either of those opens up the Style panel, so you can browse the options instead of cycling through them. All right, so that's how to play around with the background, shape, and text styles of your Prezi.
