Record and share from the web interface

- Previously, we saw how to record and export your presentation from the Prezi Desktop app. Now let's take a look at how it works from the Web Interface. I'll choose to use Prezi Present here again, and I'll select the same file we were working with earlier. Again I want to appear with my content so I'll click continue and I'll have a camera. And here we are. And again, you just sort of want to position yourself on the screen next to your presentation. Now, I should mention that when you're practicing your presentation, if you find that parts of it are too far to the left and you're being partially covered you can manually drag the contents over to the right to give yourself a little bit more room. But again, when you're ready to record just like before click record video, now we see the record interface, and again here I can click the record button. We get our countdown again, and then we can step through our presentation while giving our recording, and we can choose the different views of just yourself, yourself with the presentation or just the content itself. Now, just because I'm using the Web Interface, we have this 15 minute timer indicator here, but in this case I'm done I'll just click done recording. Now, like in the Desktop app, we have the ability to trim the recording if necessary, I can click the play button to review it. And I can say, I want to cut off maybe the first second or so there so I can click trim, and we can just drag the trim handles in, on either side to trim the beginning and ending. And of course you can click the play button to review those edits. And then we can step through our presentation while giving our recording, I'll click done and then save video. Because we're using the Web Interface the video will be saved online to Prezi servers. Depending on the duration of your video, it may take a few seconds or longer to process. Now, while it's doing that, you can choose whether you want your video to be unlisted, which it is by default, meaning only the people you share the link with will be able to see it or you can make it public and allow others to create their own presentations based on your layout. But you can see the video has now been processed. Below the video, you can share a link to it on social media, such as on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, or a Google Classroom. You can also copy the link to the video to paste it into an email or elsewhere, or you can download it to your computer, but before you share your video, it's a good idea to scroll down and make sure you have a good title and maybe a description, so you and the people who view the video know what it's about and I'll click save. And that's basically it. If you ever need to share this video again, just come back to the main Prezi videos dashboard, or reload that and there it is. From here you can click the three dot button, choose share, which will bring you back to this page. And you can click the share button to share the video from here.
