Importing and exporting projects

- [Instructor] To import a project plan into Primavera P6, you can do so with three formats. Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or Excel. I'm going to go to File, select Import, and you can see the options here. We have Primavera, a spreadsheet, meaning an Excel, and Microsoft Project. Select Next. Now, I'm going to choose to import the entire project, but you can also choose to import just a resource or the roles. Select Next. I'm going to find the file by selecting the dropdown and select the project that I would like to import. Now, I can import it to a specific EPS, so I'm going to select Engineering and Construction. And Finish. You should now see the new project under the Engineering and Construction EPS. If you would like to export your Primavera P6 project plan, you need to have it open first. I'm going to select the project, Open. And under the file, you're going to select Export. You do have a few options to select an older version of Primavera P6, or an Excel sheet or…
