- [Instructor] Now for leveling resources, you do want to show your activity usage profile below. This way you can see where resources are overallocated. To level resources, you're going to go to tools, and here you're going to select the level resources, and for now I'm just going to go ahead and uncheck some of these options, and set as this. Feel free to make some changes if you like. Next I'm going to select resources, and I will select the author so as to level. Once I've selected this, I'm going to click okay to return to the level resources form. Once here, I'm going to click on the level icon, so as to level the author's resource assignments. Now the author's assignment will be leveled, and for the most part there's usually a negative flow as your schedule will have a late finish constraint on the last activity. There will also be a baseline variance. Once done, you can reschedule and therefore unlevel by pressing F9 or the schedule icon. You may now wish to work through and…
