- [Narrator] The new Primavera update baseline function is similar to the P3 function and enables the baseline schedule to be updated with data from the current schedule or delete an activity that are no longer in the current schedule without restoring the baseline schedule. To accomplish this, you want to go to project, maintain baseline, and select the update icon to open the update baseline form. You will notice below there is ignore last update date option you may use this when a project is updated at different times and the last baseline update may not be valid for the current schedule. Although the baseline has been updated with more recent data. I'm going to select the update options to open up the update baseline options form and here you can select which data items you want to update.
