Create a tabbed interface

- [Instructor] In this exercise we apply what we have learned so far in this chapter, and apply it to a tabbed interface. Tabs are one of the more common components of mobile UIs. They allow users to quickly move between a small number of equally important views. The use of tabs in an interface are great, since the general idea of tabs come from the leafing through of index cards in a drawer of a card catalog. So let's get started. And to get yourself started, open the Tabs file found in your chapter download. When it opens, you'll see we have three art boards which allow the user to move through the tabs. When a tab is selected, the indicator bar moves under the item and the item lights up. This way the user has two visual clues that the tab has been selected. So let's do that. On the first art board, select item two. So we just double click it, click the lightning bolt, and we'll just drag a tab over here to page two. Now let's open the timeline.
