Adding tracks as you work

- To get up and running with any new recording project, Pro Tools provides several methods to add tracks to a session depending on your needs. So let's take a look. and deleting these tracks for a clean slate. So when first starting a project it's generally easiest to use the new tracks dialogue box by choosing So, in the new tracks dialogue box, I can specify the number and types of tracks that I need. For example, I might choose eight mono audio tracks for drums. Now these are going to be the kick, snare high hat etc. And now, I can add a row and I'll make this a mono track for the bass. And I'm using the tab key to select Then I'll need a couple mono guitar tracks And we'll click create, and now of course, nameplate, and we might start with the snare. And then, pressing command plus the right arrow key will take me to the next track, and this could be the kick track.
