- [Instructor] Let's look under the hood of our clavinet and explore some of the more advanced features. Going from left to right, we have a harmonic profile setting with a drop down menu. I encourage you to experiment with some of these. There are six different timbral models with variations ranging from subtle to extreme. Then we have a string resonance control, which will model the age of the strings. This can affect the timbre as well as the decay time. To right of that, we have a release time control, which controls the amount of time it takes for the dampers to stop the string vibrations. Let's actually mess around with that and hear how that sounds. (musical chords) So some of these are very subtle, but again, some of these can be very extreme depending on the combinations you use. Tuning will allow you to adjust the master tuning of the instrument, plus or minus 10%. Key release noise adjusts the mechanical noise from the hammers returning to their resting position. So, if…
