Advanced features of Synclavier V
- [Teacher] While the Synclavier has a relatively straight-forward front panel, there is a lot going on under the hood of Synclavier V. Let's take a look at the first set of advanced features. I'm just going to click on the two arrows on the upper right again, and we've pulled up our first panel where we can start to take a deep dive to customize our sound. Now, I've loaded up a patch that's a really nice evolving base sound, I'm just going to play that so you can hear what it sounds like. (droning music) So, on the upper left, we can select our various partials and whenever we have a partial selected, right now we have number five selected, the other settings are going to control and adjust for that partial. And one thing you might notice in this advanced parameter section is that a lot of these changes are very gradual. In order to build sounds, this method of synthesis is very complex and you might not notice major adjustments in sound as you're tweaking things, but a lot of that…
