- [Narrator] Although you can often get out of mistakes using the undo command, there are times when undo will be of no help to you. If you've already burned through your undo cue, you may not be able to get back to a good starting point. Similarly, if your mistake involved an action that is not undoable, such as deleting a track or dropping a selection, you won't be able to recover it So one thing that often happens to me, creating the perfect edit selection, I'll get distracted, maybe by a phone call or a text message. And when I return to Pro Tools, I'll do something that causes me to accidentally drop the selection. I have a bad habit of just clicking on the screen to get back to work, but when you do that, your edit cursor updates. Now I've just lost the selection that I had previously made on the track. If that happens, the action is not undoable. So you cannot recover by going to the Edit menu choose Restore Last Selection, and you're back in business. So what if you've…
