Creating digital vintage tape delay sounds

- Every digital audio work station comes with some sort of digital delay plugin. It's an easy one to design and create, and we're used to using these in old school studies and tape delays and all that kind of stuff as a real common musical effect. What I want to show you is how to take stock standard sounding digital delay and tailor it to be what you want it to be, make it sound more like old school tape sounds and be able to work with vocals in the music, add more to the mix than just plugging in a standard little plug in delay unit. We're going to create an aux track initially. Just a Mono aux track, we'll send from our vocal out to the aux and put alright. Slap a delay on here, and I'm in Pro Tools, you can can be in anything.
