- [Instructor] Now I'm going to read you an actual note and I'll be doing more of that as the series goes along. The note was, the acoustic guitar sounds too tiny, can you thicken it up some. And so for that, just using EQ as an example, I'm going to show you what I've done to this acoustic guitar, let me play it for in context without it first. ♫ Tell me what you want me to say ♫ You know I'm stupid for you - [Instructor] They're right, there it is, so it is quite thin sounding, that's the way it was recorded so here's what I did to thicken it. As you can see, I've chose some of rather low frequency when you consider acoustic guitar's frequencies factored way down at 128 and giving it quite a boost. Here's without that. It's about where I had it. Then again, a less of a boost at what I would call the wooden region of an acoustic guitar, around 500 cycles, and without that, I got to really remove that.
