EQ stereo sends to plate reverb

- [Instructor] Plate reverbs, like the one seen here, use a large sheet of stainless steel with a mechanical driver, like a speaker, which vibrates the metal with audio signal. Then that vibration and sustain is captured via pickups, usually for a left and right signal. I was using a plate plugin recently, along with my real EMT 140 plate reverb, not the plate pictured here. Mine's in a big wooden box. It really hit me how part of what I like about my actual reverb is that the left and right side pickups seem to have different frequencies accented and cut. So I tried this out. In order to set up a path where the stereo feeds of a plate reverb plugin get different EQ. I had to set up an initial set of mono aux pass that I would EQ using graphic EQ plugins with opposite cut and boost settings from each other.
