Editing MIDI notes with the Pencil tool

- [Narrator] When it comes to editing MIDI notes, the pencil tool serves as a bit of a universal solution, giving you a host of options without having to change tools. Here, I'd like to do some cleanup of the MIDI notes and the track will instantly switch into notes view. You can see the change and confirm the track view here with the track View Selector. So at this point, I just like to zoom in vertically a bit so that I can see those notes better. And that looks pretty good. So currently, all of these notes are selected, so I'm just going to deselect them all The option modifier causes the pencil to temporarily function as the selector on Windows you can use Alt modifier for this. that I might want to get rid of, this one up here and this other one down here. With the pencil tool, you can simply double click (note plays) You can also move any note by clicking in the middle When positioned over the middle of a note, the pencil tool functions like a note grabber.
