- [Instructor] This movie is going to be less of a tutorial and more of an examination of the score I composed for "The Assurance", like how I use themes and stuff like that. Really there are just two things that I want to draw your attention to here. One is the themes I used and how I played with them. There's the main assurance theme. We hear this in the opening of the film, which establishes it as the theme of "The Assurance". This drawing and the mythology around it. When we first hear it, it's in this darker and more desolate version. (intense orchestral music) We hear it again later when the preacher talks about "The Assurance". In this iteration of it, it has more of the orchestra and it evolves in a slightly different way that feels more hopeful than it did in the beginning. (intense orchestral music) So you know, that's kind of fun. But what I'm really happy about is the way that the theme of the sisters turned…
