Experimenting with iZotope's Stutter Edit

- [Instructor] One of the most identifiable and pervasive modern vocal manipulations is the stutter sound. Let's take a look at how we can use Isotope's stutter edit to create this fun effect in Pro Tools. Stutter edit is designed to be a tool you can use to manipulate audio in real-time. This attribute can be used for live performance, but also in the studio, simply to move between presets in the plugin window. For this reason, stutter edit always requires a separate midi track to be routed to the plugin. Here's how you would set that up. So let's say I wanna put the stutter edit plugin on this vocal double track. I'll go ahead and insert it as a plugin. It shows up in the effect menu. And here's the stutter edit plugin. So we have all these different ways to manipulate the vocal. All these different panels are different types of effects we can add to the vocal. And now that I have the plugin instantiated on this track, I wanna go down into this midi track I've created. So this is…
