you'll make using elastic audio can be done tick based timing instead. when you want to apply a different tempo to a session or experiment with tempo changes. Here I'll demonstrate the process using the off to work session In this session, meaning the audio tracks are all sample based while the MIDI and instrument tracks are tick based. Changing an audio track to tick based will cause the audio clips on the track to be referenced to tick base locations When that change is combined with elastic audio on a track, the audio clips will expand and contract with tempo changes, just like MIDI clips on tick based tracks. using this button in the transport window, we can see the clips on that track Next, I'll set all of the tracks to tick based timing by holding option on the Mac or alt on Windows while selecting ticks on one of the tracks.
