Fades applied only to select frequencies with RX 4 (remove amp hum, etc.)

- If you ever have issues with amp buzz and hiss, and sounds like that coming to the foreground when you've got the end of a song. You know what I'm talking about, it's this kind of thing. (rock music) (soft buzz) It's especially... (loud buzz) That sound in there. Right as it's hitting the end the fundamental tone of the guitar is getting so quiet, and the amp buzz comes much more to the foreground. Kind of messes up the mix sometimes. Sometimes you want to leave it in, you want something to feel really live, and that's totally cool. Other times it's a distracting element that just takes away from a nice, calm fadeout for a track. So, I have a technique I use where we use iZotope RX 4. This allows us to tailor some of the frequencies at the end of the song here. We're going to select the guitar track. We're going to send it into a standalone. We're going to send it into the standalone version of RX 4. Here it is. We see the frequencies here, we see the low frequencies up to the high…
