- [Spokesperson] Another interesting and sought after organ is the Farfisa. Farfisa is an Italian manufacturer which has made all kinds of products although it's best known for it's electronic organs. These organs arrived shortly before commercially affordable synthesizers and offered a different sound and far more portable form factor than something like a Hammond. Especially with that giant Leslie cabinet. The Farfisa Compact series had four models that appeared between 1964 and 1969. There was the Mini Compact which was the smallest. There was the Combo Compact which came in two different versions and these were the Compact Deluxe which is the model recreated by the Farfisa V and then the Compact Duo which had duel keyboards. One big difference in terms of sound is that the Farfisa includes a simple envelope that is capable of attack and decay settings to further shape the sound.
