Give your bass some low-end definition

- [Voiceover] Sometimes you just can't get the definition and low-end from the bass that the track requires. Here's a trick that uses an unusual plugin that really works well. First of all, let's listen to the track, concentrate on the bass and then I'm going to solo it up. (jubilant upbeat rock music) (bass guitar) It sounds pretty good. There's a good amount of high-end there and there's a good amount of bottom, but there's not enough in either place. We can enhance somewhat and for that we're going to use a number of different plugins. The plugins I'm going to use here you may not have, but this particular trick will work with any bass enhancer plugin that you have. It's all the same process, you look at it the same way, and it really doesn't matter which one you use here, but you'll find that this will make a difference in the way your bass sounds.
