- [Instructor] To use the Import Audio command under the File menu, it's important that you know exactly what file you want to import Now, if that's not the case, from a workspace browser window. Workspace browsers are commonly overlooked, but they offer powerful ways to find files of interest. By way of example, let's search for a file to add to this session. We'll start by choosing Window, New Workspace, Default, to open a workspace browser window. You can also do this using the keyboard shortcut option + i you can select it under Volumes, in the column on the left. In my case, I know I want to limit the search to my connected audio drive, so I'll select that. to search across your entire system. At the top right of the window, we'll click on the advanced search button, this magnifier with a plus sign on it, I find this mode much more useful I'll configure this first row to filter for audio files and add a second row by clicking the + button. to look for files whose name contains…
