Increasing clarity with EQ

- [Instructor] Adjusting the equalization or EQ of an audio clip is another useful thing to be able to do. EQ is basically just a more advanced version of the settings you have, you know, in your car stereo or whatever, where you can adjust the treble and bass frequencies, independently. And this can really come in handy when dialogue doesn't come across clearly, like in this example. I'm not sure what happened or whatever, but I just felt like this line wasn't super clean. I'm not sure if it was like the mic, or just like maybe the angle of Eva's face when she was delivering the line, but it just wasn't as clear and it's a really potent line. - If others knew you existed, our lives would never be the same. - [Instructor] So what we want to do is make this sound more sharp and clear and easier to understand by adding some EQ to it.
