- [Narrator] The Oberheim Matrix is an analog synth that might look complicated, but it's actually relatively simple. While it's analog, it has a unique digital display and going from left to right, we have our two oscillators, we have our filter section, we have some modulation routing in the middle, we have our envelope, we have key tracking, and then we have our low frequency oscillator. And by the way, in terms of routing on the synthesizer, you can see the blue track on the front panel, and that will kind of give you an idea of how signal flow is routed. So let's check this out. I have our main default preset loaded up. (synth music tones) And you can hear that as I hold down the keys, it's kind of evolving a bit. I really like this synth. It's just a cool one, definitely on a kind of Blade Runner nostalgia vibe. And we can access a variety of effects controls as well. I think part of the sound we're getting and why it sounds so spacey right now is from this reverb. Let me just…
