Retiming the audio in Audition
- [Instructor] So we've been talking about how great it was record with an orchestra, but also how much work it was. Well, I was pretty surprised to find out that my work was not even close to being done once I was done with the recording, because the files needed a lot of polishing. So that's what this chapter is about. It's about taking the score, the recording of the orchestra and finding ways to polish it. In this movie we're going to look at changing the timing. Because as we'll see in the next movie, one of the things I needed to do was to add more instruments to this. And so I needed the files to sync up. But when I was conducting the orchestra, a lot of times the orchestra would get off time. Like they would be off from what I was conducting, but they would all be off at the same, in the same way.
