Scoring to picture in a DAW

- I'm this tutorial, we're going to look at how to import video so you can work with it and score to it in Ada. And we're actually going to be looking at two applications across two platforms. We're going to start here in Propellerhead's Reason. As I had mentioned earlier, this is the software that I felt most comfortable with at the time that I created the score for The Assurance. So I did most of the actual composing here in Reason. But one of the challenges is that Reason really isn't meant to be a tool used to score to picture. So there's no inherent video features. So I had to rely on this third-party tool called ReSync from ReTouch. It's very inexpensive and it's kind of clunky but it does what it does just fine. So I can launch ReSync and then just click this button here to load a video in. And then that is connected to my timeline here in Reason.
