Transducers: How sound is converted to an electrical signal

which is a graphical mapping of the amplitude, frequency and shape or envelope of a sound. The waveform is derived by measuring the sound wave, but how exactly is that done? How do we convert changes in air pressure into something that we can measure or record like an electrical signal? such as a microphone, comes into play. we can place a transducer in the acoustic space. as our transducer for illustration purposes. Inside of a dynamic microphone, is a diaphragm, connected to a coil of wire, which is suspended in a magnetic field. reaches the diaphragm, the changes in air pressure cause the diaphragm vibrate and envelope of the sound wave. As the diaphragm vibrates, it moves the coil of wire within the magnetic field, which induces an electrical current in the wire. of what we see in an electromagnet, where when we coil a wire around an ordinary bar of iron and attach the wire to a battery, the iron bar becomes magnetic.
