- [Instructor] I mentioned briefly earlier in this course, and also in the previous course on editing, about exporting your audio for a sound designer. This process is actually much more challenging than it seems. For a long time AAF was the standard, but it was a limited format. So then OMF was released and is a much more powerful format that, you know, one would have assumed would have fixed all of our issues. But the problem is I don't think I've ever once had either of these formats work perfectly for me. And I don't know that I've even had an OMF file work ever at all honestly. I've had much more success using AAF files, and, actually, all of the audio people I worked with throughout this whole process, from my friend Melissa who mixed the trailer audio, to Scott Charles, Jake Kent, Bruce Williams.
