Using markers for quick navigation

- (Narrator) Once markers have been added to a session you can use them to navigate the session and quickly jump to different sections. Pro Tools gives you several methods to recall a saved Marker Location. The basic method is to navigate through markers using the Markers Ruler. So to return to the first vocal phrase, we can click on the "Tonight" memory location and press "play". (upbeat music) Clicking on any subsequent location will immediately jump to that spot. This works whether Pro Tools is stopped or in playback. So this can be done in real time. Now this technique of recalling markers from the Markers Ruler is not the most efficient because when you're zoomed in you may have to scroll to access the desired location before clicking, which defeats the intent of navigating quickly. A better option for navigating through your memory locations is to use the "Memory Locations" window which is available by going to the "Window" menu, coming down about two thirds of the way, and…
