- [Narrator] Now that we've built a pattern and we have some sounds that we're happy with, it's time to start working this thing into what could be part of a larger composition. Now, as I mentioned before, we can play these individual drum sounds using our MIDI keyboard. (drum sounds) And, we can also sequence using the sequencer over here. (drum beats) - If we wanted to. Now, here's the thing, what we can also sequence is the activation of these different patterns we have. Okay, so right now, we're looking at pattern number one. You can see right here, pattern number one. But it also says C3. (rhythmic drumming) Okay, so, if I find C3. (rhythmic drumming) That's C3 on my MIDI keyboard and what's actually happening is it's playing back that pattern. So all of my MIDI notes from C1 up (MIDI sounds) are going to allow us to trigger our different individual sounds. But what we have, starting at C3 (rhythmic drumming) is the ability to trigger these actual patterns. And it'll only play…
