- [Narrator] Here's a simple little trick that I use on almost every mix session that I do. Go to the lead vocal audio file, solo it, zoom in close on the phrases, and also zoom vertically to expand the height of the wave form. Look for the places where breath is being taken especially at the tops of sections or lines. Now begin to edit out unneeded audio especially those mouth clicks that people make when they are about to sing and draw in a simple fade wrapping the vocal breath up in a natural, yet controlled, way. Let's pop around and listen to various spots on the vocal track here. ♪ Make this work ♪ - [Narrator] Here's another spot. Let's simply do this, do another quick fade, check it, fade this out after the K sound. ♪ We're going to figure it out ♪ ♪ Try ♪ ♪ Try ♪ - [Narrator] There's another little clicking sound in there. Give this a quick wrap. Especially if a singer has really loud breathing this can help…
