What are mix notes?

- [Instructor] So, what are mix notes? Mix notes are the comments, criticisms and requests written or verbalized, given to a music producer or mixer during the record making process. Here we'll be dealing mainly with the comments you'll either be writing or receiving during the final mix process and you should think in terms of which side those notes you're on. If you're an A&R representative, an artist manager, an artist or other non-technical person, interested in the outcome of the music, these videos will be helpful on many levels, especially on how to speak the language. If you're an engineer mixer, it'll be helpful in the sense you may learn about alternative ways to address the notes you're receiving and that may differ from your standard approach. Either way, I think this will be a fun series to get into.
