What you should know

- [Instructor] To get the most out of this course, it's helpful but not necessary to be familiar with audio workstation such as Pro Tools, Logic, Ableton, et cetera. And to have a working knowledge of EQ, compression, and other common mix processes. If you need to dive deeper into the foundational techniques involved, I encourage you to check out the Foundations of Audio series, which covers compression in dynamics processing, EQ in filters, delay in modulation and reverb. Also check out my courses on Mixing Techniques for Pop Music for a close look at how I work and how you can improve your skills to get the most out of your mixes regardless of the genre you're working in.
