The moving filter trick

- Sometimes you want to give a stereo track or an effect or even a double the illusion of movement in order to keep it interesting, or even fit better in the track. The moving filter trick shows that a high and low pass filter can be used for a lot more than it was intended. So first of all let's listen to the track and listen especially to the acoustic guitars. ("Save Your Heart For Me" by Patricia Bahia) And let me solo them up. ("Save Your Heart For Me" by Patricia Bahia) This is a pretty close double and it sounds nice and everything but it might not fit in the track as well as we want. So what we really want is for it to fit into one place in the track and still have the feel of the double, the feel of the wide stereo. So the first thing we're going to do, listen to one track here, and I'm going to put a filter on it. Actually what I'm going to do is put low pass filter on first.
